Tuition is based on an annual rate divided into 10 monthly payments. Tuition may be paid in advance annually, semi-annually, or monthly. We accept Personal Checks, Money Orders, Cashier’s checks or Credit/Debit Card payments. We do not accept actual cash for tuition payments, please convert this to one fo the forms described. Monthly payments are due on the 20th of each month. Although we attempt to keep this list current, please contact us for the current rates. Note: In a recent survey of Montessori schools in San Diego County of similar quality, Chase Ranch was the most competitively priced. We not only have the finest Montessori program, we also have the lowest rates! Current clients continue at current rates until June. Scholarships are granted based on need, family history, and first-come, first-serve basis. At least four weeks of summer is required under the Scholarship Program. Read full terms on this page: Scholarships **** Summer is 8 weeks. Students may choose any 4 to 8 weeks, space allowing. Daycare rates are the same as during the year. Registration fee $50 or $40 for early bird (before May 1) registration. Prices shown are for Summer, 2021. Minimum is four weeks per student. Daycare -- Before and after school child care is available. This is separate from your tuition. Daycare is paid in advance and applied to 1 hour increments during these times: 7:30 a.m. - 8:30 a.m. 2:30 p.m. - 5:30 p.m. Minimum of one hour per day when used. (Effective immediately) Please pay in advance and at least $50 at a time (reimbursable). Afternoon ending time may vary based on the needs of our students. Pay as you Go -- Prepaid, refundable 10 hours per card $50 40 hours per sheet (4x) $200 Full Daycare -- Paid with tuition. Use as much or as little as you need during that month, all for one low price (~50% off). 7am drop-off is available for full-daycare students on request basis and if feasible. 7:30am to 5:30pm $225 7:00am to 5:30pm $300 Other Rates and Policies Annual Registration Non-Refundable $210 The Registration Fee must be paid before your child can be accepted. This fee will hold your child's space for the scheduled year. Must be used within 3 months. No rollover to a subsequent year or child. Returning Students pay only $100. Processing Fee: $25.00 fee if you cancel your annual agreement prior to the start of school for any reason, including if you are not accepted into the scholarship program. Pick Up: within 10 minutes after dismissal at 11:50 and 2:30. Late Pickup Fee: $5 late fee if children are picked up after 12pm noon for 11:50 am dismissals End of School: 5:30pm. There is no grace period. Fine is $1 per minute. (See Parent Handbook for full description.) Credit Cards: **We accept VISA, Master Card, American Express, and Discover Cards. To cover merchant fees, there is a 4% surcharge for use of debit or credit cards on any transaction (about $35 for tuition payment). All prices shown above are when paid by Personal Check, Money Order or Cashier’s Checks. Be smart and avoid using credit cards. DISCOUNT PROGRAMS The following discounts apply only to tuition. However, if you pay full daycare with tuition, then discounts can be applied to the total. These discounts are not applicable to students on scholarships. Annual Payment Discount Receive a 5% discount by paying the entire annual fee up front and commit to the entire academic year (i.e. no refunds). Not applicable to scholarships. Multiple Student Discount Added siblings on a 5-day, full-time schedule can receive a 5% discount. Not applicable to scholarships. Military Discount Active military families are offered a 5% tuition discount. Not applicable to scholarships. All prices and policies are subject to change without notice.
